fire is faltering,

soul smouldering

into a failing haze

Foggy
eyes despite the light
Tear-blurred
vision,

faltering will to fight,

choice, no decision

bells chime
As
the cage door unseals;
It's
time for the mountain climb
But
there I stand; from progress I reel.

To blow me away
